How to register for Match! Tennis app
How to register for Match Tennis App.
- Please first go to our website matchtennisapp.com
- click the green button “Sign Up Now” and complete the registration including the creation of your username and password. (no credit card required)
Once this is done, you can use the newly created username and password to login to both the mobile app or laptop/desktop versions of the app.
**Please note that one must register through the website first in order to create a username and password before they can use the mobile app.
I don't remember my password or my password is not working.
Go to sign in page and click ‘Forgot Password’ link.
If you still have issue, you may have multiple accounts that is associated and expired. Please contact support chat or contact form.
I don't see any tournament schedule for my kids on the calendar.
- Click Search tab on home page.
- Search the tournament.
- Click the tournament on the list to see detail.
- Click the Top Right Corner + button to add to my calendar.
- If you have multiple my players, check the player that is associated.
What is benefits for premium subscription?
Please note only paid subscribers to Match Tennis App have access to premium features inside of Match Tennis app such as sorting and viewing applicant and competitors lists by USTA rankings and etc.

However, during all tournaments when using a pre-tournament check-in, all users have complementary access to the doubles pairing, find a warm-up partner, Match U for connecting with colleges, and will also receive tournament communications when directors updates Tennislink during the tournament for rain delays etc.

Spinning wheel when trying to register
If you are on a desktop/laptop please try clearing your temporary internet files. The Chrome browser works best for desktop/laptop.
If using the mobile app then try to uninstall and reinstall the app.
A weak internet connection can also cause some intermittent loading issues.
How to clear temporary internet files
Chrome Browser on Desktop/Laptop
- Choose Chrome in the top bar.
- Click Clear Browsing Data.
- Choose Cookies and Site data, Cached Images and Files
- Click Clear Browsing Data.
Safari Browser on Desktop/Laptop
- Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.
- Select the Develop drop-down menu.
- Click Empty Cache.
Chrome Browser on Android
- Click the 3 vertical dots in the upper right
- Click settings
- Click privacy
- Click clear browsing data
- Choose cookies and site data, cached images and files
- Click clear data
- Go back to the screen and click refresh.
Safari Browser on iPhone
- Open Settings, and scroll down to the fifth group of options (starting with Passwords & Accounts). Tap Safari.
- Scroll down and tap ‘Clear History and Website Data’.
- In the popup, tap ‘Clear History and Data’ to confirm.

Do I need to cancel my free basic subscription if trial from signup USTA Tournament VTD is finished?
We can certainly stop your membership for you but it is completely free for the basic version you are using. Most of the tournaments in the South are using Match Tennis App for their Virtual Tournament Desk to address the Covid 19 restrictions.

How can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel subscription please follow these steps:
- Log into Match Tennis App via mobile or laptop browser (Chrome/Safari/FireFox).
- Click the menu icon and go to “My Account”
- Scroll down and click the red “Cancel Subscription” button and you will be good to go.

If I have multiple kids do I need to create multiple accounts or just one account?
You only need to create your own account and you can then save both of your children to your “my player” section. Just remember if they play multiple age divisions in tournaments you will need to save all age division profiles to your “my player” section.
Once you add your first tournament to your calendar you will be sent automatic email reminders for entry deadline’s three days before the entry deadline closes and on the day of.
When you add your players to your “my player” section you will also receive ranking alerts when their rankings or UTR change and so much more.
One of our most popular features is our applicants and competitors lists for each tournament, as you can sort the lists numerically by rankings.
I want to do pre-tournament check-in but I don't have MatchTennisApp account.
For your safety and ours, all tournament check-in forms and waivers MUST be completed and signed through Match Tennis App’s Virtual Check-In link published at the top of Important Info tab on Tennislink (USTA site tournament page).
1. Go to USTA.com tournament page.
2. Click the link for ‘MATCH TENNIS APP REGISTRATION’.
3. Complete check-in form and waiver.

I have MatchTennisApp account. How can I submit pre-tournament checkin in MatchTennisApp?
- On MatchTennisApp, go to tournament detail page from search or your schedule.
- Click the “Pre-Tournament Check-In” button
- Click “Enter Login” with MTA account.
- Complete check-in form and waiver
I had trial account before that is expired now. Do I have to pay to login for pre-tournament check-in?
You can upgrade to premium version or you can contact support if your free basic version has expired.

Where can I check my waiver that I Submitted?
After you filled out the waiver, you will get confirmation email that contain waiver PDF file link. You can also find all your completed waivers on MatchTennisApp My Account > Completed Waivers Page.
I submitted same waiver twice on the tournament. Is there two different Virtual check in numbers for his actual match check-in?
If the waiver information is same, it is not problem. You don’t need need to merge.
That confirmation number is only used for reference. Won’t affect anything in the Match Check-ins.
How can I submit match score?
For VTD version 1 tournament : via text message
After receiving your court assignment text click the link to confirm and you will see the “Match Confirmed” page with a button to “Submit Score” after the match so you don’t have to go to Desk!
For VTD version 2 tournament : via Match Tennis App
You can click the report score button of tournaments entered on top of the calendar of the home page or go to the tournament detail page to click the report score button.
For some reason once I click on the link on the tournament’s page, I get to this Tournament Check-in page but all I get is a loading wheel.
Clear your temporary internet files in browser and try the link again.
