USTA Eastern’s Sportsmanship Project
USTA Eastern is proud to announce a system for recognizing and rewarding good sportsmanship and fair play at our Adult events and tournaments. The initiative is designed to promote a positive environment for all who participate in tennis.
The Project, also known as the Fair Play Project will reward all adult nominees who receive 5 or more nominations a certificate and a prize.
The USTA Eastern Sportsmanship/Fair Play Project will recognize nominations at the beginning of every year, January 1 until the end of every year, December 31.
Who can vote:
Players, officials and tournament directors are allowed to nominate up to 3 players at each individual adult tournament held within the USTA Eastern Section.
Who is eligible:
Any player competing in an adult tournament (sanctioned or unsanctioned) within the eastern section.
How To Vote:
STEP 1
Log in to the Match Tennis App if you already have an account.
OR
If you do not yet have an account, click the “Sign Up Now” button below to create your free Match Tennis App account.

One account per family
- Important – Ensure that you input your player’s USTA number on the registration process to associate the event with your new account.
STEP 2
After Signing in, from the top of the Match Tennis App homepage, click the “Vote” button to cast your sportsmanship vote.
OR
From the tournament details page of the event click the blue sportsmanship button and cast your vote.
STEP 3
Cast your vote by selecting a player from the dropdown and hit the submit button
